Are you a professional artist with a recent migration history? If so, Galatea can support you in cultural-artistic integration and expanding your career prospects. We organize various exhibitions and events.

Galatea Art Prize

An open call is put out every other year, after which a jury selects a few artists. These artists will be given a place in a collaborative exhibition. Halfway through the exhibition, a winner will be chosen. The winner will receive a medal and a sum of €2,500 to support further creative development in the Netherlands.  A favorite will also be chosen by the public. The winner of the audience award will receive an honorable mention in the hall.

A jury will evaluate the motivation and quality of the work and will choose a few candidates to participate in a group exhibition in the Dordrecht Museum.
