Art

We want to support the cultural-artistic integration of refugee artists. An exhibition is organized annually and is linked to the Galatea Art Prize.

Through Galatea Music, the foundation supports talented, but less fortunate musicians, by organizing concerts and supporting recordings and performances.

Academy

A 4-day introduction to Dutch art history for refugee artists. Given since 2022 by Jaap Versteegh of Galatea in the Asylum center in Utrecht.

The Galatea foundation encourages the integration of artists (status holders with a recent past as refugees) by offering them the opportunity to realize and present their art in their new homeland, the Netherlands.
