We want to support the cultural-artistic integration of refugee artists. An exhibition is organized annually, linked to the Galatea Art Prize.

Music

Via Galatea Music the foundation supports talented, but less fortunate musicians, by, among other things, organizing concerts and by supporting recordings and performances.

Academy

A 4-day introduction to Western/Dutch art history for refugee artists.

Since in 2022 given by Jaap Versteegh of Galatea in the AzC in Utrecht.

Galatea Kunstprijs 2025

‘’Een tentoonstelling over veerkracht en een nieuw begin.’’
De tentoonstelling toont een mix van disciplines. Van kleurrijke schilderijen tot visionaire fotografie, Maar ook: een nagebouwde kastenwand als spookachtig poppenhuis. En een piano die volledig is versierd met beschilderde tandenstokers – materiaal dat toevallig voorhanden was in de buurt van een AZC.
