Artists who participated in the Galatea Exhibition told  that they missed an introduction to Western/Dutch art history during the introductory/integration courses in the Netherlands. We want to fill this gap for the time being with our Galatea Academy.

In 2022 and 2023, Jaap Versteegh of the Galatea Foundation will organize the first art history courses in the AzC in Utrecht (a block of 4 afternoons including a visit to museums). This was a great success.

 

In 2024, the AzC in Utrecht,  the art history course will be taught in August 20 and 27 and in September 10 and 17.
