Berkay Tuncay presents his recent experiments fusing text with digital culture.
Inspired by the symbols and shapes found in Instagram's profile biographies, Tuncay creates text-like structures. The main work in the exhibition is called 'Passive Aggressive Poems'. This work (a beautifully embossed print) explores visual poetry and includes modified versions of glyphs (graphic signs of a letter) and symbols, and builds on Tuncay's ongoing experiments with text.

Using analogue techniques such as printing on paper, embossing and folio printing, Tuncay raises questions about our digital communication.
